"I searched the web for a long time for a cabin - then, there it was The Red Wolf Falls Log Cabin - to call it a cabin is an understatement! I knew immediately this was the place and it turned out even more than I expected - it is beautiful right down to the smallest detail, nothing lacking."    Jim & Cecile - Chillicothe, OH

A blazing fire fills the Red Wolf with warmth and romance!

"This is by far the most beautiful cabin we have ever stayed in!  The Red Wolf Falls Cabin deserves to be showcased in a magazine, just as the one on the table!  Nice job in choices, inside and out, and all else!  Most importantly that warm, cozy, relaxing environment that everyone is seeking."  August 2016, The Walsh's, Elyria, OH

In Red Wolf Falls tranquil hollow, a black sandstone waterfall will steal your heart

"Everything you say on your website is so true, and then some!  It is beautifully appointed in every way and positively spotless, (kudos to your cleaning people!)  I was able to prepare all our meals in your well-equipped kitchen, and we enjoyed eating on your beautiful dining table.  The master bedroom gave us such a comfortable night's rest.  We watched TV after dinner in the cozy loft and sat by the beautiful fire in the great room.  The care you put into every detail is incredible!  And to have a waterfall right on the property!  How cool is that!"  January 2016, Barry and Gail, Maineville, OH

Springtime at Red Wolf Falls

Springtime's promise of renewal, reigns supreme in the Hills of Hocking!

The Trails at Red Wolf Falls guide you into the secluded state forest- where not a soul can be found- and silence engulfs you….

Heavy spring rain brings the forest to life.  Come experience the torrent of water flowing through Cedar Falls, Old Mans Cave and Ash Cave.  For a moment you will think you are at Niagara Falls!  Everywhere you turn a new waterfall forms spilling over the rocks and cliffs, utterly amazing!  The light catches the falls and creates many dazzling rainbows.

As darkness descends upon the forest the Red Wolf comes to life and lights up the evening with an array of nightlife.  Stargaze by a crackling fire that is silhouetted with prancing deer.  Fire up the Gas Grill while taking in nature’s music of the night!  Come and lose yourself in romantic evenings by candle and moonlight on the open upper deck!

Springtime in Hocking Hills is out of this world!  Walk to Rock House and along the way discover many secrets hidden within our forest… where the Rock Oak trees and Hemlocks rival our 100 foot Rock Walls!  Relax later with a long soak in our huge hot tub, all the while being wrapped in lush jungle like tapestry of green!

The magic never ends …A buck and doe can be found snacking on the tall grass while a swan sits atop her royal nest and a fish entertains in leaps and bounds in the marshes of Lake Logan.  Peace and Harmony reign throughout the Hills of Hocking and Red Wolf Falls!

Gathering around the warm glow of a crackling fire adds a sense of magic to your stay.  Reconnect and share the simple things in life with an evening of storytelling, marshmallow roasting, and star gazing!

"We came here to spend our 10th Anniversary away from everything else and it could not have been more perfect.  The craftsmanship, the furniture, all the way down to your trail - awesome!  We can't wait to bring our girls here"   Matt & Virtue - Amherst, OH

Red Wolf Falls has its own hiking trails that lead to the waterfall, cave outcroppings and hundreds of acres of secluded Hocking Hills State Forest!  Check out our photo gallery to catch a glimpse of the breathtaking scenery along our trails!
